Are you feeling sad?

Curl up on the couch and watch your favourite show and then write a poem. 

Then, take a long bath and laugh at your own jokes. 

Cry, sometimes, just for the hell of it. 

Draw pictures of the people you hate and burn them, the pictures. 

Then scream into your pillow and curse.  Say ‘fuck’ a lot.  ”Fuck them, the fucking fuckers.”

Go for a jog. 

And then, find your favourite childhood toy and confide in it. 

And say all the words, all of them, the ones in your head.

Let them go.

And put them away. 

And move on and don’t ever look at them again, the words, the people, the hurt.

And every time you feel bad, do an easy math equation.  Then dance in the rain.

And someday, when you feel strong, come back to it and think about it.

And then drink hot chocolate or lemonade, depending on the weather.

And then forget it again.
